A ramshackle structure, Pete's Tasty Eats was established by those on the edge of the Barrens where even soy products are hard to come by. With a failing soy processor that made what should have been it's last meal a decade ago, the location is more famous for it's alternate menu. This close to the wall on occasion paracritters get through, since KE hardly cares and it's been years since anyone other then the locals tried to do something about the damage. Those who aren't killed by the invading critters and manage to kill it instead bring the body to Pete's and get paid for it. The alternate menu is made up of fresh meat, that tastes good enough so long as you don't think of what it might have been.
Given that servers at Pete's value their privacy, no one goes by their real names and it's a local custom to just refer to everyone working there as 'Pete'.
