Once upon a time, it was a project to build a jungle without maintenance but in the long time since then, it has be retaken by the very nature it was meant to replace. Wandering tribes of metahumans have overtaken the jungle and there is even rumor the they have found a way to cultivate real plants in that jungle, but few dare enter and find out. On the fringes of the jungle a few abandoned builds can be occupied for little more then a few nuyen a month if you're willing to risk the wildness of that jungle at your back.
